More Uses for Excess Review Copies

I'm always on the lookout for interesting things to do with multiple review copies. Now Dick Adler has generously tipped me off about This Into That, a wonderful site by Jim Rosenau, a third-generation publishing executive, a writer, and an artist who does the coolest things with books (thanks, Dick!). Make sure to check out Rosenau's very clever Factory Tour, and his Custom Work. (It turns out Rosenau was also one of the masterminds behind the brilliant Haiku Error Message competition that circulated widely on the internet a while back. The man is seriously versitile.) We think any critic who can should donate review copies to Housing Works, but giving books for art is also great thing, and Rosenau is always looking for donations (he pays shipping). He's especially "interested in older hardback books that look better than they read."
